Entrepreneurship and Business Skills Training

This is a holistic course that takes students/ participants through a well-structured programme that will equip them with everything that is there to learn about entrepreneurship. Students are equipped with best practices and strategies that they need to know when starting a business, grow and scale a business. The training adopt an interactive structure with a combination of discussions and action focused sessions. These will include business simulations, facilitated working group discussions and other activities. This training transform entrepreneurs from working in their business to working on their business.

Basic Computer Skills

The Basic Computer Skills Course focuses on basic computer concepts, Microsoft Office, Internet and E-mails, and Office administration. Our course provides students with the capabilities for entry-level administration jobs focusing on equipping our students with the necessary skills to ensure business activities are run effectively and efficiently. Both theory and practical knowledge is taught in this course allowing students to acquaint themselves with the office environment and technology.

Graphic Designs

This course equip students with creative skills that will allow them to create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. Students will be able to pursue self-employment, be in-house designers for their own businesses and improve their existing skills. Students will be able to develop the overall layout and production design for various applications such as advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports.

Financial Management

This course focuses on creating financial literate individuals that will be able to manage finances within their business, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Community Based Organisations (CBOs), and personal lives. For any business or organisation to grow, they need a sound management of financial resources. Most businesses fails because of mismanagement of funds. Most families goes through financial difficulties not because of having a little of it, but because they lack the financial discipline that will ensure they live within their means. This course will take students through a holistic program that will ensure that they are financial literate upon completion.

Baking for Business

This course focuses on creating entrepreneurs by equipping students with both baking and business skills. Students are mentored and guided throughout the course where they are given individual attention. Starter packs of the goods baked under supervision in class are handed out to encourage students to master their baking techniques at home. These products are then sold in their communities. Students are provided with skills to calculate their profits of their baked goods. Entrepreneurial skills are developed enabling students to exceed their expectations and begin their own sustainable businesses within their communities. Students who don't wish to start their own businesses are well equipped to manage a position in a bakery.

Public Speaking and Communication Skills Training

This course focuses on creating greater public speakers, as well as articulate communicators. This will enable students to communicate their business and ideas to consumers, investors, and partners with ease. Nowadays, public speaking is a Degree on its own and mastering the art of public speaking will help you excel in your business, studies, workplace and personal lives. The benefits of knowing how to communicate to an audience include sharpening critical thinking and verbal/non-verbal communication skills.

Facilitator Course

Facilitator training course will equip participants with the required knowledge and skills to facilitate learning using a variety of given methodologies in their field of expertise. The Facilitator training course will help you better understand the Facilitation practices and will help you take the first step in developing your skills within the fields of Education Training and Development Practices.

The Facilitator has to determine the needs of the learners, possible learning barriers, previous learning experience, different learning styles, etc. It is also the responsibility of the Facilitator to ensure that the learning methods selected are appropriate for the learning outcomes to be achieved. Facilitation must promote open interaction and ensure that learners have an active role in their own learning. Facilitation must enable learners to draw from their own experience in their working environment and apply the concepts for themselves. The responsibility of the Facilitator is great and thus they need to meet a high standard of criteria.

Funding and Fundraising Course

This course focuses on equipping students/ participants with fundamentals of fundraising. For entrepreneurs to grow or scale their business they need funding. For NGOs, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Schools and Community Based Organisations (CBOs) all need funds to carry out their activities and implement projects. This course will show you where to look, what to say and to who in order to access the necessary funds.

Training of Trainers

The Training of Trainers (ToT) course is intended to engage master trainers in coaching new trainers that are less experienced with a particular topic or skill, or with training overall. A ToT workshop can build a pool of competent instructors who can then teach the material to other people. Instead of having just one trainer who teaches a course for a long time, there are multiple trainers teaching the same course at the same time in the ToT model. This means a new participant typically gets to watch an experienced trainer teach, complete the exercises, and then practice teaching segments to other participants.

Project Management Course

Project Management Course focuses on equipping participants with fundamentals of initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work of a team to achieve specific goals and meet specific success criteria at the specified time. Most projects fails because the team implementing the project is not well equipped with Project Management knowledge and skills, and through this important course, well qualified Project Managers will be groomed.
